King Dick Tools Business Update April 2015
King Dick Tools, the long established Birmingham manufacturer of professional user hand tools, are now at the final stages of a 2 year Company development programme, simply aimed at providing better service and support to their customers.
This has involved multi-level changes to the traditional and existing operation. A massive review of all raw material has been undertaken, including numerous re-tooling procedures, to incorporate improvements for optimum efficiency in manufacturing, enhanced performance, and better pricing. Stock holding levels of finished goods, and raw materials, have been substantially increased to further support customer’s requirements, and needs.
Whilst all this has been going on, the regular development of King Dick products and services has continued. The product range has expanded, and now includes:
• The in-house manufacture of Tool-Control foam inserts, using CNC and laser machinery.
• Tethered tools for working at height, with every tethering attachment being proof tested.
• Bespoke tool kit creation – enabling the production of customer specific colours, configuration and corporate branding and identity.
